As a Senior Educator you will be a team player, collaborating with the Centre Leadership Team and Educational Leader within your centre to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs on offer to children. You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children.   

 

About Goodstart Coopers Plains: 

  • Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Coopers Plains is conveniently located in a suburban area on Musgrave Road, close to schools, shops and transport routes.
  • Our centre provides high quality care for children from six weeks to 12 years – in rooms from Nursery to Kindergarten. We provide meals in collaboration with the families which are all prepared on site.
  • The early learning professionals at Goodstart Coopers Plains form partnerships with families at our centre. 
  • Goodstart Coopers Plains has a Government-funded Kindergarten program with a qualified Early Childhood Teacher, to cater for children in the 4 to 5 year age group. 
  • Outside, our playground areas are a balance of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces – with sandpits, lots of shade, gardens, mud pit, vege patch, worm farm and lots of trees. We have carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability – while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam.
  • Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.

You’ll need: 

  • Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent) 

  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards 

  • Current Queensland Working with Childrens Check
