Employment Type: Permanent Part time, 27.5 hours per week

Are you looking for a chance to bring your culinary skills to a place where you’ll make a real difference, and be valued for what you do every day?  

In this role, you will:  

• Support the health and wellbeing of children through planning and preparing nutritious food 

• Ensure the safety of children by preparing meals to account for special dietary requirements and allergies 

• Use your creativity and organisational skills to plan the menu and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director 

• Maintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic  

• Work a part time roster of 27.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday.

• Goodstart Early Learning Middle Park is located in the western suburbs of Brisbane in a residential area; close to shops, schools and public transport.
• Our environments are carefully planned to ensure that they meet the needs of all children and provide safe, open and stimulating spaces for the children to engage and explore.

You’ll need: 

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within a childcare setting 

• Current Queensland Working with Children Check
