Teacher - Albury Banff Avenue

Date: 13-Aug-2019

Location: ALBURY, NSW, AU, 2640

Company: Goodstart Early Learning

Preschool Early Childhood Teacher

Come and join our fantastic team at Goodstart Albury Banff Avenue

Part Time Opportunity until December 2019

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to develop programs and practices that are responsive to our children’s needs and aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard.

We believe that children learn through play. No longer are we sitting in large groups discussing colours and letters. We use the interests of the children to extend on their knowledge and help them to learn from there through play, technology, and books to investigate all their questions and aiming to answer every one of them!

We aim to make our centre feel like 'a home away from home' and offer a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Our centre philosophy is reflective of sustainability and the environment and this is evident throughout our curriculum as well as our excursions, with bushwalking being a weekly practice in our Preschool program.

Community is important to us at Goodstart Albury Banff Avenue, and we take every opportunity to be involved with events and offer our support. Our centre is situated in a residential area in the centre of Albury and is a beautiful area especially in autumn with the large trees around.

The centre has been transformed from two old houses, creating our three main rooms, each with separate yards to facilitate age appropriate and challenging experiences for each group. Our playgrounds have sandpits, cubbyhouse, flower and vege gardens, a mud kitchen, fairy garden, bark and stone gardens and lots of shade.
