Your Impact

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you’ll inspire a love of learning in children and foster their development through purposeful, intentional teaching practices that are delivered with creativity and energy. You will build meaningful relationships with families, so each child has a strong sense of belonging that supports them to thrive. Your love of teaching will be reflected in how you mentor and guide educational practices in your room, and in your work with the broader centre leadership team to develop, review, and implement high-quality early learning programs, to ensure you’re achieving optimal outcomes for children.  
 

About Goodstart Coffs Harbour:

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Coffs Harbour is located close to the CBD in a residential area. We are an 86 place centre, that caters for children aged six weeks to six years in rooms from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool.
With experienced, qualified and long-service carers and educators, we can work with your child to ensure their individual needs and interests are catered to, while providing them with the highest-quality early learning within the Early Years Learning Framework. Each room is age appropriate and enables your child to develop to their fullest potential. We have a huge number of resources and toys which assist your child in their development.
Outdoors, we have two spacious playgrounds, each with big gardens where we grow vegetables and herbs, sandpits and natural surround to provide experience and sensory-based learning around themes of sustainability, diversity and the environment.

Our centre prides itself on its links with our diverse community and by welcoming a number of refugee families into our centre family, our children enjoy the opportunity to learn about different cultures and ways of life. Our parents and families are our most important partners in the children’s learning and through open, clear communication we are able to ensure your child has every opportunity to access highest-quality early education.

Relocation costs of up to $6000 and a week's leave to source housing, schooling and confirm other arrangements you need to support a smooth relocation. This could include a flight to the area, removalists costs or short stay of up to a week accommodation.

Reimbursement will occur once tax invoices are received and are in accordance to procedure. You are committed to staying in the role for at least 12 months.  

You’ll need:

• Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
• Current NSW Teachers Registration - happy to consider 
• Current NSW Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification
