We have a rare opportunity available for a highly motivated Regional Manager to join the Goodstart Queensland team based at our Murarrie centre support office. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing a group of Area Managers and approximately 75 early learning childhood centres representing approximately 1200 staff across Queensland.

The Regional Manager role plays a pivotal piece in the strategic direction of the QLD Goodstart network, combining direct line management of Area Managers, external stakeholder management with state government, critical contributions towards the state plan and implementation of national initiatives. We are looking for a professional who aligns with our vision and who has a commitment to a relentless pursuit of excellence in the early years.

 

Key deliverables of the role:

  • Provide leadership, coaching and ongoing support to Area Managers across QLD and centres within your region to ensure they meet objectives of the strategic plan.
  • Lead the development and implementation of State and National initiatives as required to ensure ongoing continuous improvement across all priority areas.
  • Actively contribute as a member of the State Leadership Team in driving strategy and delivering on regional/state priorities in-line with Goodstart's vision and purpose.
  • Excellent people management & Interpersonal skills
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and the development of critical relationships with local and state government and ancillary agencies
  • To be considered for this position, the following is required:
  • Tertiary qualification in Early Childhood or Business, or relevant community sector experience 
  • Senior-level multi-site management experience (essential)
  • Experience in agency, state and local government stakeholder management (essential)
  • The position does require having flexibility to undertake regular domestic travel and to work outside normal business hours as required.
