As an Early Childhood Teacher at Goodstart, you'll ignite a love of learning in children, guiding their development with purposeful and energetic teaching practices. About Goodstart Nuriootpa:

  • Located in the beautiful Barossa Valley among the grape vines of the district.
  • Tucked away in the quiet of the rural community but still close enough to schools, amenities and transport to be convenient
  • Operating hours 6.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Catering for 75 children aged from six weeks to 5 years.
  • The entre has forged strong bonds with the local school which is next door to the centre. A great family atmosphere is evident when they all come together to celebrate special events, ensuring that bonds are formed between the children, their families and the centre.

You’ll need: 

  • Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) or ACECQA approved equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards 
  • Current SA Working with Children Check  
  • Hold active registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia (TRB SA) (applicants working towards their Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) may be able to apply for Special Authority to Teach if certain are conditions met)
