As an Early Childhood Teacher, you’ll inspire a love of learning in children and foster their development through purposeful, intentional teaching practices that are delivered with creativity and energy. You will build meaningful relationships with families, so each child has a strong sense of belonging that supports them to thrive. Your love of teaching will be reflected in how you mentor and guide educational practices in your room, and in your work with the broader centre leadership team to develop, review, and implement high-quality early learning programs, to ensure you’re achieving optimal outcomes for children.   
 

About Goodstart: 

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Aberfoyle Park is set back from the road, surrounded by shady gum trees and gardens. We are in a residential area, close to local schools and shops as well as community amenities.

We care for up to 100 children per day from six weeks to school age and offer a separate Preschool House for children aged four to five years old which focuses on school readiness, teaching a nationally accredited Preschool program planned by early childhood educators. The team here at Aberfoyle Park believe in delivering a high quality of care that is tailored to each child while working to the needs of your family. 

Our amazing Centre Director Alex strongly believe every child will learn through their own interests and in their own time. With the Early Years Learning Framework, together our educators, aim to provide a rich and nurturing environment, which can assist them in giving them the skills they need to succeed in the future.

You’ll need: 

• Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved) 

• Current SA Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification 

• South Australia teacher registration is required – Hold active registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia (TRB SA) (applicants working towards their Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) may be able to apply for Special Authority to Teach if certain are conditions met)
