About Goodstart Albany Creek, Flamingo Drive
Goodstart Albany Creek – Flamingo Drive invites you to join our dedicated team as Educational Leader and play a vital role in shaping the future of our centre. Here's a closer look at what makes our Centre special:
- Age-Appropriate Rooms: We cater to children aged six weeks to school age with six internal rooms, each designed to meet the specific developmental needs of different age groups. From Nursery 1 to Kindergarten 2, our centre offers a well-rounded educational experience run by a Bachelor Qualified Teacher.
- Enriching Facilities: Our centre boasts a library and sensory room, both utilised daily in small key educator groups. These spaces enhance children's learning experiences and provide unique opportunities for exploration and discovery.
- Nature-Inspired Environment: Our service environment is carefully designed to support children's learning in natural and well-resourced spaces. We prioritise creating a safe and stimulating natural environment that encourages children to 'be' and explore.
- Approved Curriculum: Our play-based and stimulating curriculum aligns with the approved Early Years Learning Framework, focusing on holistic development across all areas.
- Effective Communication: We utilise the online Story Park platform, enabling daily communication with parents.
- Sustainable Practices: Our recently updated outdoor play spaces strike a balance between natural and manmade elements. With sandpits, a mud digging pit, decking, cubby houses, and a community garden, we promote sustainable practices like gardening, composting, and caring for our worms.
- Community Engagement: We believe in being active members of the community. Monthly excursions, incursions, and celebrations of significant days enrich the learning experience for our children, allowing them to connect with the world around them.
