Role: Educational Leader

Your Impact!

As the Educational Leader at Goodstart Albany Creek, you will work alongside the Educators within your centre to observe practice, review and continuously improve educational programs on offer to children.You will develop the educator teams understanding of child development and other relevant early years content knowledge, as well as support the application and use of the Early Years Learning Framework or an approved learning framework. 

 

In this role you will workwithin the centre leadership team (CLT), lead change, and championpracticeupliftand excellence.   
 

About our Centre: Goodstart Albany Creek is a large & busy 93 place service, with a team of qualified and passionate educators, with a strong leadership team. Our play based stimulating curriculum is informed by the approved Early Years Learning Framework, which focuses on all areas of development.  


About you: We are looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team, someone who enjoys mentoring and inspiring your fellow educators, and building strong relationships with our families.

You’ll help achieve this by  

  • Having a Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education or ACECQA equivalent
  • Having a genuine desire and respect for early childhood education
  • Having the ability to inspire, mentor and encourage educators, by role modelling correct practice and adherence to company policy & procedures
  • Having a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of children and their families
  • Having excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Having the confidence to mentor and support inexperienced educators and those educators who may resist change or require extensive mentoring
  • Having strong pedagogy knowledge
  • Having a strong understanding of the EYLF & NQS

If you have previous experience leading change in education and have either a Diploma or Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) or ACECQA approved equivalent, then we want to meet you!
