Your Impact

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you’ll inspire a love of learning in children and foster their development through purposeful, intentional teaching practices that are delivered with creativity and energy. You will build meaningful relationships with families, so each child has a strong sense of belonging that supports them to thrive. Your love of teaching will be reflected in how you mentor and guide educational practices in your room, and in your work with the broader centre leadership team to develop, review, and implement high-quality early learning programs, to ensure you’re achieving optimal outcomes for children.  


About Goodstart Thurgoona:

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Thurgoona is located in a residential area, close to local schools, shops and transport routes.

We are a 90-place childcare centre which caters for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old. We also provide Before school, After school and Vacation Care. Our operating hours are 6.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday, closed all public holidays. We provide nutritionally balanced meals to each age group to ensure they are receiving their daily dietary requirements.

Our educators provide fun and exciting programs to engage your children in experiences that will promote development and allow them to explore the world around them.

You’ll need:

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
  • Current NSW Teachers Registration
  • Current NSW Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification

If you have previous experience as Teacher in a school or early learning environment, or similar, then we want to meet you!
