Location: NSW South & ACT – covering Sydney’s Inner West and South, Illawarra, South Coast, Southern Highlands, Central West, Riverina, Murray, and ACT regions. Ideally based in Central West, Illawarra or Riverina

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Practice Partner to join our NSW South & ACT team.

 

In this hands-on and rewarding role, you’ll work alongside centre teams to strengthen teaching and learning practices, build educator capability, and drive continuous quality improvement. You’ll coach, guide, and model effective practice to help centres deliver the best possible outcomes for every child and family.

 

Your Impact:

As a Practice Partner, you will:

  • Provide high-quality coaching and professional support to educators to build confidence and consistency in practice.
  • Partner with selected centres to translate Quality Improvement Plan goals into action.
  • Champion the consistent implementation of the QRS, NQS, EYLF and state frameworks, focusing on high-priority centres.
  • Work collaboratively with the Teaching and Learning for All Children team and internal specialists to deliver improvement initiatives.
  • Promote a strong culture of child safety, equity, and inclusion.
  • Build trusted relationships with Operations teams to enhance practice and quality outcomes across the region.

You’ll bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from a recognised university
  • Extensive and recent practice-based early childhood teacher education experience (aged birth to 8 years)
  • Strong understanding of the A&R process and the Exceeding Themes
  • Experience in delivering high quality training to centre-based teams
  • Experience in supporting practice uplift with centre-based teams
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, other State based approved/recognised learning guidelines and the National Quality Standard
  • Sound understanding of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child
  • Excellent communication, organisational, evaluation and team leadership skills
  • Current Working with Children Check
