Role: Practice Partner - QRS

Location: NSW South & ACT – covering Sydney’s Inner West and South, Illawarra, South Coast, Southern Highlands, Central West, Riverina, Murray, and ACT regions. Ideally based in Central West, Illawarra or Riverina

We’re seeking a QRS Practice Partner to join our NSW South / ACT team.

 

This role plays a key part in achieving our State and National practice uplift goals by providing expert coaching and advice on the Goodstart Quality Rating Scales (QRS) and supporting centres to embed quality teaching and learning practices.

 

You’ll work closely with the broader Practice team to ensure accurate QRS self-assessments, validate results, and identify opportunities for targeted and effective practice uplift across centres.

 

 

Your Impact:

 As a Practice Partner QRS, you will:

  • Act as the first point of contact for all QRS-related queries and guidance.
  • Deliver on-demand, virtual coaching and advice to support quality practice.
  • Build educator capability through reflective conversations and feedback on QRS self-assessments.
  • Validate and assure self-assessment outcomes, providing insight to Practice Partners.
  • Collaborate with Specialists to identify trends and share data insights that inform continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to assurance of teaching and learning delivery aligned to QRS scales and items.

You’ll bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree (4-year qualification) in Early Childhood Education
  • Strong, recent experience in early childhood teaching and practice leadership (birth to 8 years)
  • Deep knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and relevant state-based learning frameworks
  • Understanding of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child
  • Excellent communication, reflection, and collaboration skills
  • Willingness to travel across regional NSW and ACT
  • Current Working with Children Check
