Role: Support Partner
Location: Supporting services across New South Wales South – Role based out of Sydney Region

Step into a high-impact role where your leadership transforms centre performance during critical moments. As a Support Partner, in partnering with State and Centre Leadership Teams you'll drive performance uplift, strengthen leadership capability, and support the successful delivery of strategic priorities across centres.
A core component of the role is coaching and supporting Centre Leadership Teams to build capability, enhance operational effectiveness, and deliver improved outcomes across all areas of centre performance.
The Support Partner plays a vital part in maintaining strong health, safety, and compliance standards by guiding teams to meet regulatory requirements, address risks, and embed a proactive safety culture aligned with organisational expectations.
This role requires an Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) qualification to enable working in ratio if required, along with sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF).
Your Impact:
In this role you will:

Act as Centre Director / Nominated Supervisor when deployed to centres requiring support

Collaborate with the State team to identify priority challenges and focus areas for the State

Conduct regular check-ins with State teams to monitor progress against plans and agree on next steps for centres or projects.

Support and coach Centre Leadership Teams to develop and implement action plans that improve performance in key focus areas.

Ensure Centre Teams are actively involved in decision-making and are accountable for delivering agreed actions within set timeframes.

Complete required documentation, including goals, action plans, and organisational commitments, in collaboration with State teams.

Provide observational insights and data to the State Manager and State Performance Leads on centre team capability and performance to inform ongoing development.
- Address safety, risk and compliance issues and embed a strong safety culture across the centre

Support adherence to policies, procedures and regulatory requirements, ensuring high-quality and safe environments for children

Actively contribute to the ongoing focus on health, safety, and compliance across the Goodstart network

You’ll bring to the table:

Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) qualification, with ability to work in ratio

Minimum 3 years operational ECEC experience
- Proven experience as a Centre Director with strong performance turnaround capability
- Demonstrated success leading teams through operational, pedagogical and business improvement
- Strong business acumen across all domains of centre performance

Proven experience developing and executing strategic plans to improve performance.
- Skilled in building capability, coaching diverse teams and supporting multi-site environments
- Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQF and regulatory compliance requirements

Ability to build trust, influence and collaborate at all levels

Ability to identify, analyse, and address centre performance challenges.

Demonstrated experience coaching and leading teams to achieve strong performance outcomes.

Current Working with Children Check, Police Check, and Open Driver’s Licence

Completed National Child Safety Training.
