Role: Centre Cook/Educator

Centre: Goodstart Annadale - Yolanda Drive

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

• Full-Time opportunity for a Cook/Educator with Certificate III - Children's Services or equivalent. - 38hrs/week
• Part-Time opportunity for a Cook without Certificate III - Children's Services or equiv - 12.5 hrs/week
• Good to have Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within a childcare setting

In this role, you will:  

• Support the health and wellbeing of children through planning and preparing nutritious food 

• Ensure the safety of children by preparing meals to account for special dietary requirements and allergies 

• Use your creativity and organisational skills to plan the menu and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director 

• Maintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic  

• if relevant - Work a part time roster of 12.5 hours per week.

You’ll need: 

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within a childcare setting 

• Current QLD  Working with Children Check
