Your Impact  

 

As an Educator at Goodstart Ashmont, you will be a team player, collaborating with the Senior Educators and Educational Leader within your centre to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs on offer to children.You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and response to the needs of all children. 

About Our Centre

 
Goodstart Ashmont is one of our amazing EChO centres that offer enhanced services over and above the universal base of education and care. We invest in proportionately disadvantaged communities using our unique EChO model to enhance learning, development and wellbeing outcomes for children experiencing vulnerability, along with supporting their families and building their communities. Services include additional teachers, child and family practitioners, speech pathologists, occupational therapists and social inclusion coordinators.

Services in each EChO centre differ because each centre aims to meet the individual and unique needs of the community, from providing nutritional support, to multidisciplinary and outreach services.

You’ll help achieve this by  

 

  • Holding a Diploma in Early Childhood (ACECQA recognised qualification)
  • Be over 25 years of age and hold a clean valid Full Drivers licence
  • Being confident to drive a Minibus, and transporting children safely secured in approved car seat restraints.
  • Displaying a Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Demonstrating exceptional knowledge of safety and wellbeing
  • Being a passionate Educator who is driven by a desire to provide quality learning experiences
  • Confident to work across all age groups
  • Willingness to learn and be a part of the team
  • Maintaining strong communication skills, being reliable and punctual
  • Having experience and knowledge in Inclusion Support

If you have strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards, plus hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (ACECQA approved equivalent), then we want to meet you!
