Employment Type:  Part-Time / working 27.5 hours per week - This is a fixed term contract until Feb 2025 which possibility of becoming permanent

We’re looking for a talented centre cook to join the team at Goodstart Banksia Grove, to plan and prepare a nutritious and exciting menu for the children attending the centre.

About You:

 

  • You will hold a Cert III in Commercial Cookery or experience working as a cook in a childcare setting
  • Have a valid WA WWCC card
  • Support the health and wellbeing of the children through planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks
  • Prepare meals to meet the needs of children with special dietary requirements and allergies
  • Exceptional knowledge of safety and wellbeing
  • Order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director
  • Ensure safe and hygienic storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks
  • Willingness to learn and be a part of the team
  • Strong communication skills, reliable and punctual
