About Goodstart Beachmere:

  • This role will be based in our Kindy room, supporting a consistent routine, play-based learning, and strong child-led programming.
  •  Join a warm, community‑focused service supporting up to 75 children in a calm coastal setting.

  • The Centre Director has been with Goodstart for 10+ years, creating a supportive, consistent culture that educators genuinely value.

You’ll need: 

 

  • Bachelor or Master of Early Childhood qualification (ACECQA approved) 

  • Current Queensland Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification 

  • In some states teacher registration is required – please include if relevant as per below: 

  • Australian Capital Territory – Registration voluntary, not required 

  • New South Wales – Hold active accreditation with NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) 

  • Northern Territory – Registration not required (non-mandated)  

  • Queensland – Registration voluntary if eligible, not required 

  • South Australia – Hold active registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia (TRB SA) (applicants working towards their Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) may be able to apply for Special Authority to Teach if certain are conditions met) 

  • Victoria – Hold active registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) 

  • Western Australia – Hold active registration with the Teachers Registration Board of Western Australia (TRB WA) (applicants studying their Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) may be supported to apply for Limited Registration if certain conditions are met) 

  • Tasmania - Registration not required (non-mandated)
