Role:Centre Cook & Educator

Centre:  Goodstart Beaudesert – Eaglesfield St

Employment Type: Permanent Full time, 38hr, Cook 12.5 & Educator 25.5 Monday - Friday

In this role, you will:  

  • Ensure the safety of children by preparing meals to account for special dietary requirements and allergies 
  • Use your creativity and organisational skills to plan the menu and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director 
  • Maintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic  
  • As a Goodstart Educator, you'll become a vital part of our team, working alongside Senior Educators and our Educational

You’ll need: 

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent) 
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within a childcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards 
  • Current QLD Working with Children Check / Blue Card
