Role: Assistant Director 

Location:  Bedford Park

Centre:  Goodstart  Bedford Park

Employment Type:  Part time 30hrs per week- Monday to Friday shifts from 6.30am-6.30pm

Pay: Ranges from $35.93 to $37.10 per hour – qualification and experience dependent

As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Bedford Park, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks. 
 

In this role, you will:  

  • Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care 

  • Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team 

  • Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence 

  • Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide

At Goodstart Bedford Park we are open Monday to Friday from 6.30am to 6.30pm and licenced for 60 children per day. Out children and families can enjoy the best of both worlds. Our centre offers a preschool program and long day care under the one roof. Our preschool teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support children in learning the skills for school and life. Our Educators are highly qualified and experienced and work incredibly well as a cohesive team. They all pride themselves on creating a fun, exciting and developmentally rewarding learning environment for all children.

All of the learning environments are set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities.
