As the Educational Leader, you will work alongside the Educators within your centre to observe practice, review and continuously improve educational programs on offer to children. You will develop the educator team’s understanding of child development and other relevant early years content knowledge, as well as support the application and use of the Early Years Learning Framework or an approved learning framework. In this role you will work within the centre leadership team to lead change, and champion practice uplift and excellence.  Find out more about what the Educational Leader role entails here.   
 

About Goodstart Blair Athol:

Goodstart Early Learning Blair Athol is located in Adelaide’s north, right on Main North Road. Operating hours 6.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday. The centre caters for 85 children aged from six weeks to kindergarten aged.

Blair Athol opened in mid 2019, a modern, purpose-built centre featuring five spacious learning spaces, Goodstart Blair Athol is designed as a modern yet home-like, naturally inspired environment.

Each room also has direct access to our outdoor nature-based designed play spaces with water feature flowing down a dry creek through to the sandpit. Other features include sensory gardens, natural logs designed to coordinate with custom rope of different variations to develop gross motor skills and a lookout deck with elevated views of the area.

The centre has long servicing educators taking the centre from strength to strength building strong long lasting relationships with families. The centre is committed to creating a warm and welcoming community focused centre. They look forward to building and maintaining meaningful and true relationships with all our families and children.

You’ll need:

• Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) or a Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
• Current SA Working with Children Check
