As a Centre Director at Goodstart, you’ll be at the heart of our leadership team, playing a pivotal role in supporting and developing the Teachers and Educators in your centre. You'll build strong, meaningful relationships with children, families, and communities, fully embracing the profound impact of your role in their lives.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver our bespoke learning program developed in collaboration with global leaders in pedagogical practice
- Build and encourage a talented team of early learning professionals, sharing your knowledge and contributing to a culture of reflective practice and ongoing improvement
- Work with your team to plan for the future of your centre, building the attendance pipeline and maintaining a revenue-generating business
About Goodstart Bondi Junction – Oxford Street West:
Join us in leading a dynamic team of 21 Early Childhood Professionals, including 3 Early Childhood Teachers, at our vibrant 65-place centre located in Westfield Bondi Centre on the top floor! Surrounded by delightful cafés, shops, gym, and essential amenities, this centre is just a 5-minute stroll from Bondi Junction train station, we have an option of discounted parking in the building.
- Flexible Work Options: Choose between a full-time permanent position of 38 hours weekly or a full-time role of 40 hours per week with a Rostered Day Off each month.
- Leadership Role: Lead and mentor a passionate team dedicated to early childhood education.
- Quality Assurance: Our centre successfully completed the Assessment & Rating process in August 2024, achieving meeting across all 7 National Quality Standards (NQS).
- Dedicated Spaces: Enjoy a separate staff and planning room to enhance teamwork and creativity.
- Opening Hours: 7:00am to 6:00pm (Monday to Friday).

You’ll need:
- A Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education
- Current NSW Working with Children Check
- Experience with leading and managing change within education, health or community services
- Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage
- Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management
