Your Impact 

As an Educator you will be a team player, collaborating with the Senior Educators and Educational Leader within your centre to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs on offer to children. You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children.   
 

About Goodstart Caloundra: 

• We are looking for someone with a special skill set.
• You will be adventurous and ready to slip away into lands filled with dinosaurs, fairies, pirates, and other magical creature.
• You will have to sing (out of tune is fine) in front of crowds consisting of tiny humans (children).
• You must have magical mathematic skills and be able to count rapidly moving small human heads.
• Commitment to daily tea parties and playdough creations and play a convincing role of pretending to consume of said creations is critical.
• Ability to create opportunities for intentional teaching moments out of wild adventures with small eager onlookers awaiting direction is a must.
• You must be able to read 10-page fairy-tale upside down with a minimum of 3 interruptions per page.
• You must have a warm smiling face that welcomes and farewells each little person and their family, ensuring they feel special and loved.

You’ll need: 

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent) 
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards 

• Current QLD Working with Children Check
