Pay: $39.85 - $41.05 p/h (Depending on experience) + $2.68 Educational Leader Allowance + Super

As an Educational Leader at Goodstart, you'll collaborate with Educators in your centre to observe, review, and continuously enhance the educational programs offered to children. You'll deepen the team's understanding of child development and early years content, guiding the application of the Early Years Learning Framework. Working closely with the centre leadership team, you'll lead transformative changes and champion excellence in educational practice.

About Goodstart Caulfield

Goodstart Caulfield is seeking a passionate and reflective Educational Leader to join our vibrant, 128-place centre, operating between 7:00am and 6:30pm. This modern, purpose-built service features six spacious learning environments across two levels and a beautifully designed, nature-based outdoor space. We pride ourselves on building strong, respectful relationships and fostering inclusion, cultural diversity and meaningful partnerships with families and the wider community.

In this role, you will lead pedagogy and support high-quality practice across the service, with six hours per week off the floor dedicated to mentoring, observing practice and providing thoughtful feedback. You will need to demonstrate strong pedagogical knowledge, the ability to reflect on feedback and a genuine desire for professional growth.

You’ll work closely with an experienced Centre Director, who is deeply committed to collaboration, coaching and building a supportive, high‑performing team. You’ll need:

• a Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
• Current VIC Working with Children Check
