Pay: $33 - $36 per hour based on experience.

As a Senior Educator you will be a team player, collaborating with the Centre Leadership Team and Educational Leader within your centre to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs on offer to children.You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children.  

 

About Goodstart Cooranbong:

Goodstart Cooranbong is located conveniently at the corner of Martinsville and Government Road, the centre is near Cooranbong Public School and Cooranbong Fire Brigade. We cater to children aged 12 months to six years, prioritizing play-based learning and ensuring their safety and well-being.

 

Our learning spaces are carefully designed to spark curiosity and imagination. In the toddler and pre-kindy room, educators support children's needs, maintain routine continuity, and collaborate closely with families. The preschool/kindergarten area encourages open-ended activities based on children's interests, fostering partnerships with families and the community, including visits to Cooranbong Public School.

 

At Goodstart Cooranbong, our highly experienced team holds formal qualifications in early childhood education. Our curriculum, aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework, is tailored to each child's unique strengths, and needs. Emphasizing social competence and school readiness, we support children through parent-teacher evenings and partnerships with feeder schools. Using Storypark, parents can actively engage in their child's learning journey, fostering collaboration between home and the centre.

You’ll need:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Current NSW Working with Childrens Check
