As an Early Childhood Teacher, you’ll inspire a love of learning in children and foster their development through purposeful, intentional teaching practices that are delivered with creativity and energy. You will build meaningful relationships with families, so each child has a strong sense of belonging that supports them to thrive. Your love of teaching will be reflected in how you mentor and guide educational practices in your room, and in your work with the broader centre leadership team to develop, review, and implement high-quality early learning programs, to ensure you’re achieving optimal outcomes for children.   


About Goodstart Dalby:

  • Central Convenience: Located in Dalby, just three hours south-east of Brisbane, our centre offers easy access to local shops and supermarkets, simplifying routines for busy families.
  • Age-Appropriate Care: With 74 places available, we cater to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, providing individualised programs in five distinct rooms to foster growth, engagement, and learning.
  • Segregated Spaces: Housed within a church setting, our centre is divided into two buildings for infant/toddler and 3-5 aged care, offering dedicated environments tailored to different age groups.
  • Nature Exploration: Our outdoor spaces encourage respect and exploration of nature, featuring gardens, worm farms, mud pits, and quiet areas that provide children with meaningful connections to the natural world.
  • Diverse Learning: From planned activities to spontaneous experiences, physical play to cognitive challenges, and sensory engagement to cultural reflections, our centre offers a diverse range of learning opportunities for children of all ages.

You’ll need: 

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved) 

  • Current Qld Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification 


If you have previous experience as Teacher in a school or early learning environment, or similar, then we want to meet you!
