As an Educator you will be a team player, collaborating with the Senior Educators and Educational Leader within your centre to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs on offer to children. You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children.   
 

About Goodstart East Bunbury: 

Goodstart Early Learning East Bunbury is a state of the art, purpose built early learning facility with five large, bright and airy rooms. We are located in a residential area, with the convenience of being close to main roads, local schools and shops.
We provide an all-inclusive and supportive environment, which allows children to explore, experiment and problem solve developing sustainable practices through recycling, reusing and reducing waste. Goodstart East Bunbury embraces multiculturalism and inclusive practices as both our teaching team and families bring a diverse mix of cultures and abilities to our service.
Each of our rooms are run by qualified staff including two Degree Qualified Early Childhood Teachers to help our Kindergarten run smoothly and ensure that school transitions are meaningful.
All the rooms are set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning.
Communicating with families is of paramount importance and we encourage open communication using various mediums. Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.
Outside we have a fun and stimulating environment with a balance of natural and manmade features including a vegie patch, natural garden spaces, sand pit, climbing frames, a bike track and plenty of trees for shade.
East Bunbury provides nutritionally balanced meals on a four week rolling menu which is displayed throughout our centre. Dietary requirements and preferences are catered for and supported to meet each family’s individual needs.

You’ll need: 

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent) 

• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards 

• Current W.A Working with Children Check
