Are you an experienced early learning professional who’s ready to take their career to the next level, honing leadership skills and helping to build a successful business?
As the Assistant Director, you will use your experience and leadership qualities to engage and motivate your centre team to drive continuous improvement in all aspects across centre operation. You will work in collaboration with your centre leadership team and establish respectful and reciprocal relationships with families and engage in networks within the centre’s local community.
In this role, you will:
- Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
- Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
- Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence
- Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
About Goodstart Edgewater:
Goodstart Early Learning Edgewater is located in a convenient but secure part of our community, close to schools, shops and local facilities, as well as transport and main roads. Our centre has highly qualified educators in the nursery and the toddler’s room and a qualified teacher in the Kindergarten / Preschool room and all our educators have a certificate in Children’s Services. Each room follows the Early Years Learning Framework which covers all your child's learning areas and needs in a play-based curriculum.
