About You: 

  • Support the health and well-being of the children through planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks 

  • If you have a Certificate III in commercial cookery we can offer 25 hours per week working 8.30 am-1.30 pm. Unqualified applications can be considered but it would be food prep for 3 hours per day 

  • Prepare meals to meet the needs of children with special dietary requirements and allergies 

  • Exceptional knowledge of safety and wellbeing 

  • Order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director 


Your Impact

  • Ensure safe and hygienic storage, handling, and preparation of food and drinks 

  • Willingness to learn and be a part of the team 

  • Strong communication skills, reliable and punctual 

  • Better pay - you’ll get at least 4% above the award rate, increasing to 5% by 2023
