Role: Centre Cook 

Location: 132 St Johns Road, Glebe, 2037, NSW 

Centre: Goodstart Glebe

Employment Type: Fixed term (until end of December 2026) part-time (32.5 hours a week)

Pay: up to $33.83 per hour plus super

As a Cook at Goodstart, you'll create delicious, healthy meals that fuel young minds and bodies, becoming a cherished part of our community. Your passion for food and commitment to quality will play a crucial role in shaping the daily experiences of the children in our care. 

 

In this role, you will:   

  • Ensure the safety of children by preparing meals to account for special dietary requirements and allergies 

  • Use your creativity and organisational skills to plan the menu and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director 

  • Maintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic  

  • Part-time role - 32.5 hours a week until December 2026

  • 68 place centre 

  • Room Leader role in Nursery room
  • Full time (rotating roster) position available 
  • Conveniently located on St John's Road, a stone's throw from the vibrant Glebe Point Road.

You’ll need:  

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within a childcare setting
