Role: Assistant Director 

Location:  Glenelg North SA 5045

Centre:  Goodstart Glenelg

Employment Type:  Full Time - 38 hours per week
Pay: Ranges from $35.93 to $37.10 per hour – qualification and experience dependent

As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Glenelg, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks. 
 

In this role, you will:  

  • Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care 

  • Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team 

  • Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence 

  • Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide

 

About our Centre:
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre in Glenelg is located in the beach side suburb of Glenelg, close to local schools, shops and parks - as well as main roads and transport.
 

Our child care centre caters for 70 children from six weeks old to school age and our dedicated educators work tirelessly to ensure the highest standard of quality care is provided at all times. We design fun, exciting learning activities in a warm, safe and friendly environment. With a strong commitment and focus to create a warm and welcoming community focused centre, we look forward to building and maintaining meaningful and true relationships with all our families and children.
