As the Assistant Director at Goodstart, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.

In this role, you will:

• Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
• Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
• Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence
• Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide

About Goodstart Riverside Gardens WA:

• Work closely with the Centre Director to support the daily operations of a 72-place centre, ensuring a high-quality learning environment.
• Mentor and coach educators, fostering professional development and continuous improvement in teaching practices.
• Float across all rooms, providing leadership and support to different age groups while maintaining consistency in educational standards.
• The centre features engaging indoor and outdoor learning spaces, promoting curiosity and exploration through a play-based curriculum aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.

You’ll need:

• Diploma OR Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
• Current WA Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification
