Employment Type: Fixed term - 7 months contract - 22.50 hours per week

As a Cook at Goodstart, you'll create delicious, healthy meals that fuel young minds and bodies, becoming a cherished part of our community. Your passion for food and commitment to quality will play a crucial role in shaping the daily experiences of the children in our care.

In this role, you will:

• Ensure the safety of children by preparing meals to account for special dietary requirements and allergies
• Use your creativity and organisational skills to plan the menu and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director
• Maintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic
• Part-time 22.50 hours per week

About Goodstart Griffith 

Goodstart Early Learning Griffith, located on Coolah Street, is the closest Long Day Care Centre to the CBD, conveniently near schools, shops, and community amenities. Our center caters to 44 children daily, from birth to school age, in rooms ranging from Nursery to Preschool.

At the heart of our programs is learning through play. This approach allows us to engage with the curriculum in meaningful and authentic ways that resonate with children's ideas and curiosities. You’ll need:

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within a childcare setting
• Current NSW Working with Children Check
