About Goodstart Gunnedah:

Goodstart Early Learning Gunnedah is a 66-place centre with four rooms including nursery, toddler, junior preschool and preschool. Our centre is amid the traditional lands of the Kamilaroi People, surrounded by agricultural and mining industries, yet with the convenience of being close to main roads, schools and shops.

Our programs and practices reflect our commitment to our families, the community and the wonderful diversity of the surrounding areas. We offer our children the opportunity to explore through play using their own interests to support their growing knowledge in the areas of science, maths, computers, multi-culture, diversity and gender equality.

A major focus for our centre is how working with the broader community can help us enrich the children’s learning experience. Through visits to the centre as well as excursions and participation in community events, we can deepen the relationship between the centre and the community, while teaching the children about being a contributing and active member of society.

You’ll need:

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
• Current NSW Working with Children Check
