As a Senior Educator you will be a team player, collaborating with the Centre Leadership Team and Educational Leader within your centre to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs on offer to children. You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children.  

Goodstart Hawthorne is located in a leafy area with close public transport and the river ferry a short walk away. The Hawthorne and thriving community of Bulimba are easy to access with loads of beautiful cafes and parks nearby. Our lovely centre is a heritage listed building c1910, with 4 rooms with 15mths to 6years. Our close team of teachers and educators are looking for one more senior leader to join this welcoming team of professionals. You will be valued by the children, co-workers and the wider community. The centre director is an experiences leader and mentor who works alongside her team and values a collaborative approach to leading.

You’ll need:

• Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
• Current QLD Working with Childrens Check
