As a Centre Director at Goodstart, you’ll be at the heart of our leadership team, playing a pivotal role in supporting and developing the Teachers and Educators in your centre. You'll build strong, meaningful relationships with children, families, and communities, fully embracing the profound impact of your role in their lives.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver our bespoke learning program developed in collaboration with global leaders in pedagogical practice
- Build and encourage a talented team of early learning professionals, sharing your knowledge and contributing to a culture of reflective practice and ongoing improvement
- Work with your team to plan for the future of your centre, building the attendance pipeline and maintaining a revenue-generating business

Our Hurstville Centre is a vibrant and fulfilling workplace, featuring a beautiful heritage-listed building with a capacity of 50 places, currently operating at 84%. As the Centre Director lead and mentor a 3 room centre with 10 Early Childhood Professionals, you'll enjoy opening hours from 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. Additionally, we offer a rostered day off to promote work-life balance.

You’ll need:
- Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
- Current NSW Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification
- Hold active accreditation with NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- Experience with leading and managing change within education, health or community services
- Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage
- Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management
