Pay: $38.20 - $39.35 p/h (depending on experience) + Super

As a Senior Educator at Goodstart, you'll take charge of your own room, leading a team of dedicated Educators to deliver exceptional educational programs. You'll collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and the Educational Leader to observe, inform, and continuously improve our teaching practices. Your commitment to safety and inclusivity ensures that every learning experience is tailored to meet the needs of all children.

 

About Goodstart Hyde Park

 

Join our passionate team at Goodstart Hyde Park and guide a small, dedicated room team in a nurturing, community-focused environment.

 

Our 75-place centre, open 6:30am–6:00pm, is home to five learning rooms supporting children from 6 weeks to 6 years. Recently refreshed outdoor spaces—including a large veranda and shared yard—create beautiful opportunities for all age groups to play and learn together. Our Nursery children also enjoy their own shaded, secure outdoor area designed just for them.

 

We are proud to foster a warm, caring atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and confident to explore their world through play.

You’ll need:

 

  • Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Current QLD Working with Children Check
