Your Impact 

You will be a team player, collaborating with the Centre Leadership Team and Educational Leader within your centre to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs on offer to children. You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children.   

About Goodstart Kallangur:  

• Our Kallangur centre is located 10 minutes from the M1 and walking distance to Kallangur train station
• We offer a welcoming, fun and very supportive environment
• Our centre is wrapped in large natural playgrounds that provide age appropriate exploration and learning through play. Our very large playgrounds are one of our favourite parts of the centre! We are very fortunate to have lots of space that gives the children room to get outside and gain confidence in physical skills such as climbing, running and group games.
• We provide warm and natural learning spaces and each room has a unique feel as the spaces are designed to reflect the personalities of each child that calls the space ‘home’.
• At Goodstart Kallangur East we incorporate love and respect for our natural environment, and we offer a range of different materials for children to access and encourage reuse and recycle play. This is done through modelling sustainable practices within the centre.
• We value the input we receive from the wider community. We actively invite local community members into the centre and through participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience for all involved.

You’ll need: 

• Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent) 
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards 
• Current QLD Working with Children Check
