About Goodstart Kingaroy:

We are a small centre with a capacity of 74 places daily, catering to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. We offer flexible working arrangements and ample non-contact time for programming and paperwork. The centre exudes a homelike atmosphere and features a large wraparound playground with many established trees. Our gardens, which include a bee garden, butterfly garden, vegetable garden, and bush tucker garden, support the children in practicing sustainability. We maintain a strong partnership with Gundoo Early Learning in Cherbourg, an Aboriginal Day Care Centre about 45 minutes away. We regularly exchange ideas and knowledge and support each other in Educator growth and development. Our excellent team boasts an average tenure of 7-10 years, with our Centre Director in her 21st year. The team is also learning to speak Wakka Wakka, Thai, and Tongan.

You’ll need: 

• Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved) 

• Current Western Australia Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification 

• Western Australia – hold active registration with the Teachers Registration Board of Western Australia (TRB WA) (applicants studying their Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) may be supported to apply for Limited Registration if certain conditions are met)
