Pay: $40.65 - $66.09 p/h (Depending on qualification and experience) + Super

As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Maroochydore – Main Road, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.
In this role, you will:
- Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
- Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
- Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence
- Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
About Goodstart Maroochydore – Main Road
Located in a bustling residential and commercial area, our centre is conveniently close to community facilities, public transport, local schools, and shops.
Our 71-place centre caters to children aged six weeks to 5 years across 4 rooms, providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where they can thrive. We believe in supporting each
child's individual needs, interests, and strengths.
We are on a look out for an Assistant Director to lead and guide our passionate educators in providing a holistic approach to early childhood education, respecting and incorporating cultural needs within our centre.
- Floating position between rooms and play areas, ensuring every child and educator feels supported and inspired!
- In this dynamic role, you'll enjoy the best of both worlds: 15 hours a week at the front desk (admin) and 23 hours on the floor.
- Set shifts between centre’s operating hours 6:30am – 6:30pm that ensures you have a fantastic work-life balance! 🌟
