Role:Assistant Director

Location: 490 Mutsch Street, LAVINGTON, 2641, NSW

Employment Type: Full-time permanent

Pay:  $36-$50 per hour plus super

Are you an experienced early learning professional who’s ready to take their career to the next level, honing leadership skills and helping to build a successful business? 

As the Assistant Director, you willuse your experience and leadership qualities to engage and motivate your centre team to drive continuous improvement in all aspects across centre operation.You will work in collaboration with your centreleadership team and establish respectful and reciprocal relationships with families and engage in networks within the centre’s local community.


In this role, you will: 

  • Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
  • Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
  • Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence
  • Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide

Goodstart Lavington is located in the beautiful surroundings of Albury and is situated in the heart of the Valley.

At our childcare centre we thrive to achieve the highest possible quality of care by providing a variety of detailed and aesthetically pleasing activities for children aged six weeks through to six years. We also offer before and after school care and vacation care for children attending local primary schools. Goodstart Lavington has been part of the local community nearly 10 years.

Goodstart Lavington actively works with Holy Spirit School, Lavington Library and local businesses to maintain our community links. Our educators are all highly qualified with all holding a Certificate 3 in Children’s Services or higher. We have educators who have been at the childcare centre ranging from 1 year up to 10 years.
