Role: Practice Partner - QRS

Goodstart Early Leaning in currently seeking a highly motivated Practice Partner - Quality Rating Scale. Through collaboration between our centre teams and Centre Support Office, we strive to deliver teaching and learning that consistently meets and exceeds these standards.

 

Practice Partners – QRS play a key role in this, guiding centres through accurate self-assessments, building capability, and driving practice uplift to ensure every child benefits from high-quality early learning experiences.

 

The National Quality Framework is the statutory document that underpins early childhood education and care in Australia. This includes the Early Years Learning Framework, or approved learning framework, and the National Quality Standards that are designed to bring clarity for centres in their understanding of the factors that most effectively support all children’s learning and development, and against which centres are regulated.

 

Your Impact:

  • Lead in safety, compliance, and child protection so every centre meets legal obligations and upholds the highest standards of care and protection for children. Be the first point of call for regarding the Quality Rating Scale and its application through areas of development in supporting practice uplift across all centres
  • Support the delivery of on-demand, virtual coaching and advice for all roles regarding the QRS.
  • Build sustainable capability in centre teams through rich and reflective conversations with centre teams about their QRS self-assessment and moderation.
  • Assure and validate the centre’s self-assessment, sharing observations that add insights to the self- assessment with Lead Practice Partners.
  • Work with Specialists to identify trends and insights surfaced through inquiries, QRS data ensuring the evolving teaching and learning for all children needs of our Goodstarters are being met.
  • A point of assurance in the delivery of teaching and learning against the QRS scales and items.

You’ll bring to the table:

  • Minimum 4-year Early Childhood qualification from a recognised university.
  • At least 5-years practice-based early childhood education experience (aged birth to 8 years).
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, other State based approved/recognised learning guidelines and the National Quality Standard.
  • Sound understanding of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
  • A current and valid Working with Children Check/Police Clearance in accordance with relevant State or Territory legislation.
