We’re looking for an enthusiastic Teacher/Educational Leader to develop programs and practices that are responsive to our children’s needs and aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard. Our Centre

 

Goodstart early Learning Child Care Centre Madora Bay is located close to local schools, shops, new residential developments and is close to our beautiful beaches. We believe each child is a unique individual with an enormous capacity to learn, grow, and develop as capable and competent learners. Our centre was assessed by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) and we received an overall rating of ‘Exceeding’. This process is a National Framework, which rates all Childcare Centres across Australia against the National Quality Standards.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Assess children’s learning and development and apply pedagogical expertise to inform curriculum decisions
  • Maintain and apply expert knowledge of the National Quality Framework
  • Seek and share best practice examples to improve the education program
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with families, children and the centre team
  • Model effective application of pedagogy in teaching practice
  • Contribute to a professional and positive work culture

 

The Requirements

 

  • Hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
  • Hold a current Teachers Registration
  • Hold a current First Aid qualification
  • Full time, permanent position
  • Educational Lead position across all rooms - perfect for an experienced Teacher looking to help, guide and mentor
  • Incursions and Excursions encouraged
  • Plan innovative and engaging learning experiences
  • Champion positive and meaningful relationships with children
