As an Educational Leader at Goodstart, you'll collaborate with Educators in your centre to observe, review, and continuously enhance the educational programs offered to children. You'll deepen the team's understanding of child development and early years content, guiding the application of the Early Years Learning Framework. Working closely with the centre leadership team, you'll lead transformative changes and champion excellence in educational practice.

About Goodstart Maida Vale

• Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Maida Vale is a purpose built centre located at the foot of the Kalamunda Hill, close to local schools, shops and community facilities
• Inside, all of the rooms are set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities
• You will work with the team to tailor each program to each child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre
• You'll discover that our outdoor play areas are a balance of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces – with sandpits, veggie patch and worm farm, open space to run, lots of shade and natural gardens. We have carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability – while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam

You’ll need

• Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) or a Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
• Current WA Working with Children Check
