About Goodstart Mannering Park:

Join our vibrant early childhood education team in a delightful community setting! Nestled right next to Mannering Park Primary School and just across the street from the charming local bakery, general store, and post office, our preschool offers an enriching environment for both children and educators. We have established wonderful partnerships with local businesses, including the general store that provides nutritious preschool lunch packs and the bakery that generously donates bread to families. Our preschoolers also enjoy exciting visits to the primary school, easing their transition into formal education.

We pride ourselves on being a small, friendly team dedicated to supporting each other and the children we educate every day. Our core values of communication and teamwork foster a collaborative atmosphere where everyone thrives.

 

Position Highlights:

  • Full-time or Part-time Opportunities: We are flexible and can consider part-time arrangements.
  • Set Shifts: Enjoy a balanced schedule from 8:15am to 4:15pm, with some negotiation available.
  • Dynamic Preschool Room: Engage with up to 30 children daily alongside a supportive team of 4-5 Early Childhood Professionals.
  • Dedicated Programming Time: Benefit from a minimum of 2 hours each week for programming, allowing you to focus on creating impactful learning experiences.
  • Resourceful Workspace: Utilise our office space equipped with a dedicated programming desk, along with opportunities for collaboration and professional development across the Goodstart network.
  • Thriving Environment: Our Centre is currently operating at full capacity with 38 places across two classrooms.
  • Diverse Team: Collaborate with a team of 10 educators, ranging from trainees to experienced professionals with over 18 years in early childhood education.
  • Convenient Hours: Our Centre operates from 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.

You’ll need:

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
  • Current NSW Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification
  • Hold active accreditation with NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
