Role: Early Childhood Quality & Performance Partner (Internal Title - Support Partner SA)
Location: South Australia
Employment Type: Full-time, Fixed-term – 12 months

As a Support Partner, you'll work across multiple Goodstart centres, partnering with Centre Leadership Teams to build capability, strengthen quality and support centres to achieve their goals. You'll bring your knowledge of the National Quality Standard (NQS) and early childhood operations to provide practical coaching and guidance across all seven Quality Areas.

 

This is a role where relationships matter. You'll work alongside centre teams with kindness and a strengths-based approach, helping leaders identify opportunities, develop practical plans and build their confidence and capability.

 

 

Your Impact

You'll:

  • Partner with Centre Leadership Teams to identify priorities and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support centres across all 7 NQS Quality Areas.
  • Conduct observations and provide practical feedback and guidance to centre teams.
  • Develop and support short-term improvement plans, including 12-week action plans.
  • Support centres through Assessment and Rating processes.
  • Coach leaders and teams to build capability, confidence and ownership.
  • Work collaboratively with State teams and expert services to support centre priorities.
  • Maintain documentation and insights to support ongoing improvement.
  • Work autonomously across multiple centres, balancing centre-based work with administration and planning.

 

The role will involve travel across South Australia, including regional locations, with the centres you support varying according to business needs.

What You'll Bring

  • A minimum Diploma-level Early Childhood qualification.
  • At least 3 years' operational ECEC experience, such as Centre Director or multi-site operations experience.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience across the NQS and all 7 Quality Areas.
  • Experience supporting centres through quality improvement and/or Assessment and Rating processes.
  • Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, including relevant regulations and legislation.
  • Demonstrated experience coaching and building capability within centre teams.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously across multiple centres.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative and approachable style.
  • A strengths-based approach, with the ability to lead with kindness while maintaining accountability and focus on outcomes.
  • Current Working with Children Check, Police Clearance and Nominated Supervisor registration.
  • Current open driver's licence and ability to travel as required.
