As a Practice Partner, you will play a critical role in uplifting teaching and learning practices across centres in South Australia. You’ll be the go-to expert for centre teams, providing on-demand coaching, advice, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality early childhood education and care.
You’ll partner with centre teams to build capability, support Quality Improvement Plans, and champion inclusive practices for all children, including those with additional needs. This is your opportunity to make a measurable difference in the lives of children, families, and communities.
Your Impact:
- Provide virtual, on-demand support to centre teams nationally, responding to inquiries and building capability.
- Coach and mentor selected centres to implement Quality Improvement Plans and achieve practice uplift.
- Collaborate with specialists and state practice teams to deliver targeted support and share insights.
- Ensure compliance with the NQF, NQS, and approved learning frameworks.
- Advocate for children’s rights and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

You’ll bring to the table:
- A minimum 4-year Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from a recognised university
- Extensive and recent practice-based early childhood teacher education experience (aged birth to 8 years)
- Strong understanding of the A&R process and the Exceeding Themes
- Experience in delivering high quality training to centre-based teams
- Experience in supporting practice uplift with centre-based teams
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, other State based approved/recognised learning guidelines and the National Quality Standard
- Sound understanding of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child
- Excellent communication, organisational, evaluation and team leadership skills
- Current Working with Children Check
