Role: Casual Educator

Location: Moree, NSW

Centre: Goodstart Moree

Employment Type:  Casual shifts Monday to Friday between 6.30am to 6.30pm

Pay: $34 - $38 per hour (based on experience)

As a Casual Educator at Goodstart, you will be a team player, who is flexible and willing to support our centres and children when and where required. You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children.  

You’ll achieve this by:

• Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team
• Engaging and supervising the children at all times
• Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members
• Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families
• Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures
• Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement
   

About Goodstart Moree:

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Moree is in the centre of a small rural farming community. Close to the local schools and community facilities as well as shops.

Being part of a farming community enables the children to experience nature firsthand and gives us opportunity to foster environmental awareness. This is reflected through our stimulating, nurturing and educational programs.

Our play-based curriculum is based on the Early Years’ Learning Framework and our rooms – from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool – are all geared with this in mind. We develop engaging programs accounting for each child’s individual interests, needs and strengths, and have a problem-solving approach reflected in our programs to encourage higher order thinking and a curiosity for learning.
