Centre Director | Goodstart Morningside, Junction Road | Full-time Permanent

Your Impact 

As the Centre Director at Goodstart Morningside, Junction Road, you will use your experience and leadership qualities to engage and motivate your centre team to drive continuous improvement in all aspects across centre operation and to extend your network of relationships with children, families and educators. You will work in collaboration with your centre leadership team . 

You will establish respectful and reciprocal relationships with families and engage in networks within the centre’s local community. 

About our Centre: Goodstart Morningside, Junction Road is a large and busy double centre caring for children from 6 weeks of age through to 5 years. Our three well equipped playgrounds include many and varied experiences for the children. Our experienced and qualified staff are professional and committed to providing the highest quality child care in a "home away from home" environment that is warm, loving and nuturing. 

The centre was recently renovated and this has allowed us to create natural outdoor environments to enhance the children's exploration and learning in our shaded, spacious, individual yards that adjoin each of our five rooms, with features such as sandpits, dry creek bed and vegetable patches. We are open from 6.30 am to 6.15 pm, Monday to Friday!

You’ll help achieve this by 

• Having a Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education
• Having previous Centre Director experience or significant Assistant Director experience
• Having excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
• Delivering our Bespoke learning program developed in collaboration with global leaders in pedagogical practice
• Building fantastic relationships with families through daily contact, in person and using specialist social media tools
• Having strong pedagogical focus, driving practice improvement
• Having experience with compliance and in change management
