Your Impact

As a Senior Educator you will be a team player, collaborating with the Centre Leadership Team and Educational Leader within your centre to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs on offer to children. You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children.  

 

Here at Goodstart Morningside Wynnum Road we have professional and caring educators, many who have been with our centre for several years. Every person on the team is passionate about high-quality early learning. All of our group leaders have obtained a Diploma in Children's Services or are studying to achieve this. The teachers and assistants pride themselves on providing a high quality, fun and educational learning experience for the children in their care. Our educators are especially talented and enjoy sharing their skills with the children such as cooking, music and sport. Many educators speak second languages including 
Spanish, Gujarati, Greek, Mandarin, Phillipine dialects of Visayan, Tagalo and Ilonggo, Hindi and also signed English and Makaton. We love to share songs and words from other languages with the children.

You’ll need:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Current QLD Working with Children Check
