Pay: $43.55 - $66.09 p/h (Depending on qualification & experience) + NT Allowance + Super

As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Moulden – Temple Terrace, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.
In this role, you will:
- Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
- Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
- Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence
- Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
About Goodstart Moulden – Temple Terrace
Goodstart Moulden – Temple Terrace is a 73-place centre who is on a look out for an Assistant Director. Offering a welcoming and stimulating learning environment for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old. Our 73-place centre blends natural and manmade play spaces designed to foster environmental awareness, curiosity, and creativity.

- Seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Director to join our team and take a hands-on leadership role, specifically in our Nursery Room (0–2 years).
- Work closely with the Centre Director to oversee daily operations and Early Childhood Professionals support.
- As a Lead in the Nursey Room, you’ll receive 2.5 – 3 hours a week of programming time for curriculum with the support of other team members in the room.
- Assistant Director time off the floor of dedicated 2 hours a week for administrative and leadership tasks.
- Team Collaboration - Share the workload and foster a positive, supportive team culture.
- Be a Role Model - Demonstrate excellence in practice, setting standards for others to follow.

You’ll need:
- Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
- Current NT Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification
- Northern Territory – Registration not required (non-mandated)
